Christine Joyal is the Administrative Services Coordinator at the Massachusetts Developmental Disabilities Council. She lives in Western, MA with her husband, two of her sons, and her 3 rescue dogs. She is a proud Blue Star Mom with a son in the Air Force and she volunteers as the Chapter President for the Blue Star Mothers in Eastern, MA.

Christine graduated from Katharine Gibbs Business School in Boston, MA with an Associate Degree in Business Administration/Secretarial Arts. After her last child was born, she started to homeschool all four of her kids while volunteering with the her local church assisting the Youth Pastor in various roles: teaching Sunday School and Children’s Church, Awana Leader for the T&T Program for middle school kids, and helping where needed. She also volunteered with the Massachusetts Chapter of the Tourette Association in various roles, including Chapter Secretary and Chapter President. This Association is also very close to her heart as several family members have Tourettes, including one of her own kids.

Christine was a recipient of the Viktoria Holm Kramer Volunteer Recognition Award 2018 – For outstanding contributions through the chapter and affiliated support group development, volunteer recruitment, fundraising, public/professional awareness, and/or advocacy.
